All meetings have been indefinately postponed due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns.  By order of Palm Beach County, our pool is closed until further notice.

By now, you should have received the Census Form that all owners and residents are required to complete. Please complete the form and return as directed at your earliest convenience.  If you need another copy of the form, it can be found by navigating to the forms page (link at the left) and clicking on the Census form link.

The community BBQ originally scheduled for March 21st has been postponed indefinately.

Our thoughts go out to everyone who has been personally impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Please know that the well-being and safety of our members and contractors is the top priority of the Board. We are closely monitoring the situation and are adjusting our policies and procedures accordingly. It is the reason we have postponed our community BBQ.

We encourage anyone who, because of health concerns, needs assistance to reach out to their neighbors or the Board for help. As a 55+ community we have many owners that by age alone should take prudent steps to limit their exposure. If you know of anyone in the community that may need help please do what you can to assist without taking any personal risks, and let us on the Board know.

Every year the Poinciana Community Group hosts a Memorial Day Ceremony & Parade. This year it will be held on May 25th, at 10:30 AM. A traditional Memorial Day lunch of hamburgers and hotdogs will follow at a cost of $10.00 per person. Those wishing to eat should leave a check at the Clubhouse Lobby Office made out to Poinciana Community group. The hosting group typically honors the memory of any of our community members that were veterans and passed away during the past year. If you know of any veteran resident of the Townhomes that has passed since May of 2019 please let me know; or you could leave a note at Lobby Office in the Clubhouse.

Recently long-time Board Member Mark Roth resigned from the Board. Mark played a critical role in the capital improvements we have made over the past few years. His real estate experience has been crucial in guiding the Board and community to make the difficult, but necessary, investments in our roofs, roads, and pool improvements. I want to thank Mark for his many hours of work and caring for the community. Mark has decided that he needed to spend more time with family and personal projects. We will miss his wise counsel.

A Landscaping Committee is being formed. Jerry Clark will chair the committee and we currently have four volunteers from the community who are willing to serve. We are looking to have a few more volunteers, so if you are interested let Jerry know. Committee members will assist the Board to develop a long-term plan to enhance the common areas in our community.

Please report any concerns or necessary repairs that we may not be aware of by using the “Send Email to Management & Board” link on the left side of the page. This link is the best way to report a problem as the message is delivered to our property manager, assistant property manager, and each of your five Board members.

The Poinciana Community COPS patrol is helpful is deterring crime in our communities.  The Sheriff’s Department provides the equipment that is used by the COPS to provide these patrols if we can produce enough volunteers to patrol at least a minimum number of hours each week.  Our COPS are always in need of more volunteers, particularly during the off-season, to insure continuation of the patrols.  The minimum commitment is three hours per week.  Hours are very flexible and can be broken up if three straight hours is too long for your comfort.  If you can spare some time, call Lt.
